Live from Florida

Yesterday we took a day trip to St. Augustine. It was so much fun; the weather was perfect, and the beach was empty, minus a humongous flock of seagulls. And I got lots of good pictures =D.

There were tons of starfish along the shore. We threw most back in and kept two (but we'll see how long that lasts-- last I heard they were starting to stink).

Me and Emily, giddy with excitement at FINALLY being on the beach...

After the ocean, we walked around downtown. St. Augustine is very very very photogenic =D. There were zillions of awesome doors like this one.
Maybe when I get home I can play around with them, turn some black-and-white, and post them all together. But not today, unless I want to be here for another three hours. My grandpa has dial-up internet...enough said.

  • I hardly post enough to know anything about formatting... so can't help ya there.

What part of Florida are you at?

  • We are...between a swamp and some hunting ground-- in the middle of nowhere...but to give you a basic idea, we're east of Live Oak, west of High Springs, NW of Gainesville...Dixie County I believe, and very close to the Suwannee.

  • My family is going to their friends farm on the Suwannee River for Thanksgiving... So you are going to be about 20 minutes away from my family tommorow. That doesn't really mean anything, but I think its cool =P

  • I think it's cool too =D. Even though it was the same way last year, if I remember correctly?
